La visita por Alejandria es algo escasa para durar todo el día ya que se visita las catacumbas, yacimiento arqueológico, la fortaleza, la biblioteca y el barrio copto. Se echa de menos el poder visitar a pie la ciudad en un pequeño paseo por el barrio más céntrico para entender la vida de sus ciudadanos.

The visit to Alexandria is somewhat too short to fill a whole day, as it only includes the catacombs, the archaeological site, the fortress, the library, and the Coptic quarter. It would have been nice to have the opportunity to explore the city on foot, perhaps with a short stroll through the central district, to get a better understanding of the daily life of its inhabitants.

El día que tuvimos la excursión nos dejaron tirados. Menos mal que al día siguiente no teníamos nada y nos dieron la opción de realizarla. La excursión comienza más tarde de las 8 ya que salen de el Cairo y sobre las 10 cuando llegan se comienza la excursión.

Por parte de la empresa organizadora muy mal, nos modifica hora de recogida a las 05:45 de la mañana del dia de la excursion, no dio informacion al guia donde recogernos, ni numeros de contacto hacia nosotros sin gestionar permisos para recogernos en el puerto, siendo nosotros quienes por suerte encontremos el guia pero perdimos mas de una hora de la prevision de la excursion

The organizing company did very badly. They changed our pick-up time to 5:45 in the morning on the day of the excursion. They did not give the guide information on where to pick us up, nor contact numbers for us, without managing permission to pick us up at the port. Luckily, we were the ones who found the guide, but we lost more than an hour of the excursion's planned time.

La salida estaba prevista inicialment a las 08:00. El dia anterior nos comunicaran que se iniciaba a las 10:00. Por la mañana a las 10:30. Al presentar-nos en el punto de encuentro, por cierto fuera del puerto, el vehiculo no estaba. La guia Safa, suerte tuvimos de ella, nos comento que el vehiculo provinente de El Cairo, estaba retenido en la autopista primero por niebla y posterior retencion. Arranca mos, cerca de las 12:00, con un paseo a pie por Alexandria. Esto duro hasta que nos plantamos

La actividad estaba prevista para las 8am, la tarde anterior nos comunican que se pasa a las 10am , la mañana siguiente vía WhatsApp se demora a las 10:30am. La salida (a pie) fue a las 11am, cómo no habia bus, andamos has las 12:20h , hora que llego el bus. De las 7h previstas quedó en 4h (y sin comida prevista) La guía Safa muy bien.

El viaje por Alejandría ha estado muy bien. Pero tenemos que calificar muy negativamente, por el guía. Nos ha explicado muy bien durante el recorrido y en ese aspecto, sin ninguna queja. Correcto. Pero si nos ha hecho sentir muy incomodas con sus comentarios misóginos al preguntar sobre sus costumbres.. Eramos 2 mujeres jóvenes solas, en un viaje de 3 horas de ida y 3 horas de vuelta (desde El Cairo a Alejandría) en un coche con 2 hombres que no conocemos. Se agradecería pensar en estas cosas.
