Day Trip Details

At the designated time, we'll meet at De Ruijterkade Street, number 151, to begin this day trip to Cologne and Antwerp, two of Europe's most important gems.

Our first stop will be Cologne, where the iconic Cologne Cathedral will greet us with its characteristic Gothic architecture. Declared a World Heritage Site, this temple is a masterpiece that has withstood the passage of time.

Then, we'll explore Cologne's old town, which stands out due to its charming cobblestone streets and picturesque buildings. We'll marvel at the Great Saint Martin Church, a prime example of Romanesque architecture, and cross the Hohenzollern Bridge, known for its padlocks of love. Here, you'll also enjoy the stunning views of the Rhine River and the Cologne Cathedral. It'll be the perfect place for some unforgettable pictures!

Afterward, you'll have free time to grab a bite to eat with a dish of Belgian cuisine. After lunch, we'll regroup to continue our day trip to our next destination: Antwerp.

Once there, we'll start exploring the Grote Markt, the main square, surrounded by spectacular Renaissance buildings that tell the story of past centuries. In the center, you'll see the Brabo Fountain, a symbol of the local legend of a brave hero who defeated a giant.

From here, you'll admire the Cathedral of Our Lady, a Gothic monument that houses artistic treasures, including masterpieces by the Baroque painter Pedro Pablo Rubens. Its intricate stained-glass windows and towering spire that dominate the city's skyline will leave you breathless. To finish on a high note, you'll have free time to explore the surroundings of the Het Steen at your own pace, and then, we'll take you to a viewpoint that hides a surprising legend. You'll love it!

Finally, we'll return to Amsterdam, where we'll wrap up this 14-hour day trip.
