The Heineken Experience is the first brewery for Heineken, the most popular blonde beer brand in the Netherlands. The brewery ceased operations in 1988, as production was moved to a more modern plant on the outskirts of Amsterdam.
Today, the original brewery houses a Heineken beer interpretation museum. During your 1.5-hour visit, you can download an audio guide in English on your mobile phone to discover the evolution and innovations introduced by the Dutch company over the years. You'll also learn some of the secrets of the beer production process.
To top off your tour around the museum, you'll enjoy a tasting of two Heineken beers at the Best 'Dam Bar—the perfect way to end your visit!

The Heineken Experience has the following opening times:
- Sunday to Thursday: from 10:30 am to 7:30 pm (final admission at 5:15 pm)
- Friday and Saturday: from 10:30 am to 9 pm (final admission at 6:45 pm)
