MontRubi Winery Visit

We'll meet at the reception of the MontRubi winery at the selected time and we'll start a very complete guided tour to discover the secrets of Avellá wine.

For 1 hour 30 minutes, we'll discover the wine culture of MontRubí, a winery that has been creating wines for more than 30 years in the pre-coastal mountain range of Catalonia. Did you know that its winery and vineyards are located between 400 and 800 metres above sea level? This characteristic gives a particular character to all their wines.

Together with an expert guide, we'll learn about the winemaking and ageing methods, as well as the striking modernist chalet of MontRubí. In addition, as we explore the winery, we'll taste a total of 5 different wines to understand the differences between one cultivation and another.

Another of the curiosities that you'll learn during the tour will be what the Gaintus Project is about, focused on the recovery of the Sumoll variety. The tour will end with a delicious tasting of artisan cheeses and sausages made at the MontRubi winery.
