San Sebastián, Hondarribia & Getaria Day Trip Details
Day Trip Details
At the indicated time, we'll meet at the Puppy flower sculpture, next to the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao, and we'll head east from there.
Our first stop will be the charming town of Hondarribia. Here, you'll enjoy a guided tour of its historic old town, where you'll discover its secrets and the beauty of its houses with wooden balconies, like the impressive Puerta de Santa María. Then, you'll have free time to explore the city at your own pace and, if you want, you can enjoy a tasty lunch.
Then, we'll head to the elegant San Sebastián. We'll begin visiting the majestic Palacio de Miramar and its gardens, an emblematic place that will offer you a chance to photograph the Bahía de la Concha and the city. Afterward, we'll continue toward the center, passing by the stunning Puente de María Cristina. In San Sebastián, you'll have free time to stroll around its lively old town, visit its Town Hall, and the majestic Basilica de Santa María. Of course, you'll be able to taste the typical Basque pintxos that make the city so famous!
Our last stop will take us to the picturesque Getaria, where the designer Cristóbal Balenciaga was born. In this charming fishermen's town, we'll embark on a short guided tour to discover its most famous corners, and you'll also have time to enjoy its unique landscape and ambience. Those who want can also make the most of their visit and tour the famous Balenciaga Museum.
From Getaria, we'll return to the meeting point in Bilbao, where we'll conclude this 10.5-hour day trip.
