Tour Details

We'll meet at Ala-Too Square, one of the most iconic places in Bishkek. Once we're all together, we'll begin our guided tour by travelling back in time in the capital of Kyrgyzstan, a city steeped in history.

Ala-Too, the main square in Bishkek, was built to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Kyrgyz Soviet Socialist Republic. Do you know what other name this square is called? We'll tell you!

After passing by the Manas Monument, the Kyrgyz national hero, we'll watch the changing of the guard, if possible. From there, we'll take a pleasant walk to the Parliament, the Government House and the State History Museum.

The next stop on the tour will be Panfilov Park, where we'll see the monument erected in honour of this Russian general. Nearby, we'll find the statue of Lenin, as well as the famous mosaics from the Soviet era. We'll continue walking through the streets of Bishkek to see the urban art that can be admired on numerous buildings.

Afterwards, we'll stop at Victory Square, where we'll reveal why it bears this triumphant name. Here, we'll also see the Abdylas Maldybaev Opera and Ballet Theatre. Other points of interest during our visit to Bishkek will be the Kurmanjan Datka Monument, Chuy Avenue and Erkindik Boulevard.

In the final stretch, we'll go to Revolution Square, where we'll see the Imam Sarakhsi Central Mosque, one of the largest in Central Asia. To finish off in style, we'll enjoy a tasting of a traditional Kyrgyz national drink.

Finally, we'll return to the departure point and bring this tour to an end after a total of 3 hours.
