Bonifacio & Lavezzi Islands Boat Ride
Boat Ride Details
Ready to discover the southern coast of Corsica? At the designated time, we'll set off from the Pontons de Sant’Amanza Marina, located on the outskirts of Bonifacio.
From there, we'll begin an unforgettable journey along the southernmost coast of Corsica. The boat can hold up to 9 passengers max, so you'll enjoy a boat ride in a small group.
Throughout the boat ride, you'll admire beautiful natural gems of the Corsican coastline, such as the Plage de Balistra and the Baie de Piantarella. From there, we'll continue sailing next to the paradisiac sandbanks of the Plage de Sperone and Crique de Fazzio, a secret cove with turquoise waters. If you enjoy the activity from June to September, we'll stop at one of these sites so you can practice snorkeling and take a refreshing dip in the Mediterranean Sea.
We'll continue the journey along Corsica's southern coast, taking in the cliffs and sea caves of the Bouches de Bonifacio Nature Reserve. From the boat, we'll see some of the highlights of this protected area, such as the King of Aragon's staircase: a flight of 187 steps carved into the rock.
As you sail, you'll see the Le Grain de Sable stone, the Belvédère du Torrione, and the former military facilities of Le Gouvernail de la Corse. Then, we'll leave the coast of Bonifacio behind and head to the Lavezzi Islands Nature Reserve, a beautiful archipelago located between south Corsica and north Sardinia.
We'll border the coastline of these islands and, if you embark on this boat ride in summer, you'll also be able to snorkel in its crystal-clear waters. If the weather is good, you'll have the chance to spot different species of local marine fauna, like rays, groupers, or even dolphins.
Finally, after 3 to 4 hours, we'll conclude the boat ride by returning to the starting pier.
