Secrets of Bratislava Free Tour
Tour Details
At the designated time, we'll meet at Rybné námestie and begin this interesting free tour of the historic center of Bratislava. What mysteries and legends await? Let's find out!
In the first spot on our tour, we'll see the St Martin's Cathedral as we share stories tied to the Jewish quarter and the famous Bratislava Castle. We'll continue strolling along the most mysterious streets in the city, listening to the stories about the victims of the most chilling executioner of the Slovak capital and the tortures suffered by women accused of witchcraft.
The tour will continue at the Franciscan Church, the oldest church in Bratislava, which holds a surprisingly violent history. Afterward, we'll reach the Primacial Palace. Is it possible that dragons lived here?
Afterward, we'll head to the epicenter of ancient Bratislava's daily life, the main square, chaired by the Old Town Hall. Here, a long time ago, it was common to hear many histories and legends influenced by the high wine intake in the city.
Lastly, after approximately 2 hours, we'll conclude the free tour on the shores of the Danube River, diving into its stories. Did you know it had its own king? You'll find out this and more!
