Day Trip to Salt Mines of Slănic Prahova
Salt Mines of Slănic Prahova
At the designated time, we'll meet at your chosen meeting point in the center of Bucharest and set off north. Our journey will take us into the Wallachia region, where we'll arrive at Slănic Prahova, home to one of the largest salt mines in Europe.
Once there, we'll transfer to the local minibuses that take visitors into the mine. After descending more than 200 meters (656 feet) underground, you'll have up to 2 hours of free time to explore this extraordinary subterranean attraction at your own pace.
At the end of the visit, we'll leave Slănic behind and make our way back to Bucharest, returning to the original meeting point after a total of around 8 hours.
