Cantavieja Zipline
Vértigo Maestrazgo, the Zipline of Cantavieja
The Vértigo Maestrazgo zipline is located on the A-227 road of the town of Cantavieja, in the heart of the province of Teruel. With a length that surpasses 3280 ft (1000 m) and a slope that will allow you to reach heart-stopping speed, it's one of the biggest tourist attractions in Aragón.
The experience begins at an elevated platform, where you'll enjoy the impressive views of the old town of Cantavieja, declared a Conjunto Histórico-Artístico for its medieval heritage.
You'll zipline along 0,62 mi (1 km) over a lovely landscape, where you'll enjoy a unique scenic view of the town, its walls, and of course, the splendor of the Sierra del Maestrazgo. For 1 minute, you'll reach a speed of up to 42 mph (70 km/h), feeling an adrenaline rush and pure freedom while crossing the valley.
The installation is made up of two parallel cables for you to glide with your partner or friends, sharing the excitement of ziplining at the same time. The infrastructure has all safety measures, and the monitors will explain the procedure so you'll be ready before jumping.
Once we reach the end of the zipline at the course of the Río Cantavieja, we'll take you back to the starting point in our vehicle. Until next time!
