At the indicated time, we'll meet at La Marina Park and hop into an elegant horse-drawn carriage to tour downtown Cartagena de Indias. Are you ready for a carriage ride through the capital of Colombia?
Accompanied by the clattering of the horses' hooves, we'll start the carriage tour through the historic alleys of the city. From the carriage, we'll get to see Cartagena de Indias' main attractions, including Plaza Bolívar and Plaza Santo Domingo, where we'll see the Monumento a Gertrudis. There's no more romantic way to admire the architectural beauty of the city's landmarks!
For 30 minutes, we'll walk through the walled centre of this city full of colonial traces. We'll pass through picturesque streets, including Calle Tumbamuertos and Calle de La Moneda. We'll see how the stone buildings intermingle with the colourful façades of the more modern areas. The contrasts of Cartagena will impress you!
Finally, we'll conclude our horse-drawn carriage ride around Cartagena.
