Mangrove Tour of Cartagena
Description
After picking you up at your hotel, we'll embark on our guided boat tour of the mangroves of Cartagena. Cruising on the waters through this unique scenery, you'll be intrigued by the formations of the mangrove trees. During the boat trip, we'll tell you interesting facts about the wildlife native to the area and about the traditional fishing methods that are practiced here.
We'll continue the tour by heading toward Bajo Republica, an ideal place to identify the different mollusks that we can observe. We'll continue learning about the work of the local fishermen. We'll see how they catch the crabs!
Next, we'll arrive at Fisherman's Island, where we'll be able to admire how they feed the animals in the area & contribute to the food chain. Then, we'll take you to a restaurant so that, if you wish, you can have lunch before returning.
After three hours of sightseeing, we'll finish the tour leaving you at the Clock Tower of Cartagena de Indias.
