Tour Options
During the booking process, you can choose between 3 different options. They all last 12 hours, and include pickup at your hotel, transport, and lunch. Please read the details of each option:
Day Trip without Snorkeling
At the designated time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Cartagena to head to the La Bodeguita pier. From here, we'll embark on a short speedboat ride to the Isla Barú. In this paradisiac site, you'll find the Playa Tranquila, one of the most beautiful beaches in the Colombian Caribbean.
Once there, you'll have included admission to Shekina VIP Club House. You'll have the rest of the day off at this beach club, where you can take a dip in its beautiful turquoise waters, sunbathe, dance to the club's lively music, or use the sunloungers and facilities with Wi-Fi.
Plus, you'll have a welcome drink included, and, at lunch time, we'll serve you a typical Caribbean lunch served with a Colombian coffee.
After lunch, you can enjoy the club's facilities. Then, we'll take you back to your hotel in Cartagena.
Day Trip with Snorkeling
If you choose this option, we'll tour the mangroves that surround Isla Barú. Have you ever seen raccoons? You'll have the opportunity to see them!
Then, we'll head to one of the best areas in Playa Tranquila to practice snorkeling. You'll have free time to swim at your own pace and discover all the colorful fish that inhabit these crystal-clear waters.
After this activity, you can enjoy all the facilities of the Shekina VIP Club House, which includes a welcome drink and lunch.
At the end of the day, we'll take you back to your hotel in Cartagena.
Sunset Day Trip
In this case, you'll enjoy the same benefits as the first option. However, we'll depart later so you can enjoy a romantic sunset at Playa Tranquila.
Schedule & Pickup Points
This activity includes hotel pickup in the following tourist areas in Cartagena de Indias: Bocagrande, Zona Norte, and El Bosque.
The pickup times vary depending on the option:
- Day Trip without Snorkeling: pickup will take place at 7 am
- Day Trip with Snorkeling: pickup will take place at 7 am
- Sunset Day Trip: pickup will take place at 12:30 pm
