Chioggia Boat Ride
Tour Details
We'll meet at the indicated time at number 132 of Via Don Eugenio Bellemo and, once we're all together, we'll get ready to discover the best of Chioggia on board a traditional boat. All aboard!
We'll sail along the Vena Canal, the main canal of Chioggia, dominated by typical buildings and numerous churches, such as the Santissima Trinità, dating back to the 18th century, or the Basilica minore di San Giacomo Apostolo. Of course, we'll pass under the Vigo Bridge, one of the main points of interest in the city.
Next, we'll continue along the Fondamenta San Domenico, where we'll find numerous shipyards. Can you imagine why fishing and naval activities are so important for the local population?
Then, we'll continue the boat trip towards the Venice lagoon, dotted with fishermen's houses and small islets. Be sure to take a photo!
Finally, we'll start the journey back and, after 1.5 hours of sailing, we'll end the experience as we return to the point from which we set sail.
