With your ticket to the Wulong Three Natural Bridges Scenic Area, you’ll explore one of China’s most breathtaking karst landscapes, entering through the Xianü Visitor Center. This is nature on a monumental scale.
To begin, you’ll board an eco-friendly shuttle bus that takes you deeper into a landscape shaped over millions of years. Then, a panoramic elevator will carry you down to the valley floor, where your walk through this geological wonderland begins.
At your feet lies the Yangshui River Gorge, a lush green corridor where sunlight barely reaches the ground. As you follow the path, you’ll pass moss-covered rocks, waterfalls, and dramatic limestone cliffs rising on either side.
Ahead stand the three natural stone arches that give the park its name: Tianlong, Qinglong, and Heilong. These immense formations dominate the valley like silent guardians. This is the only place in the world where three natural bridges span two massive sinkholes, a rare geological phenomenon that draws researchers from across the globe.
You’ll be able to walk beneath Tianlong, the largest and most imposing of the three. At 235 meters (771 feet) high, it’s so vast that it almost defies perspective.
Qinglong welcomes visitors with sweeping grey stone curves that, when mist drifts through the valley, create an almost otherworldly atmosphere. Heilong, by contrast, feels more secluded and shadowed, where the sound of running water echoes softly against the rock.
At the end of your visit, simply make your way back to the bus area, where transportation will take you to the starting point.
