Description

At the indicated time, we'll meet at Zazid 3C Street, where we'll begin our food tour of Cres. If you're someone who likes to discover a place by tasting its food, you've come to the right place!

On this walking tour, we'll walk through the old town of Cres and make stops to taste the island's traditional products while we tell you details about the history, culture and traditions of this charming town.

One of the highlights of the tour will be a visit to the only olive oil mill on the island, where we'll learn about the production of this important element of the Mediterranean diet. Not only that, but we'll also see an olive oil mill to learn even more about the origin of the oil. Without a doubt, this is one of the most valuable products in Cres' gastronomy.

Afterwards, we'll continue walking through the historic centre until we reach the Church of St Mary of the Snow, the most outstanding temple in the town.

Of course, before the end of the tour, we'll round off the activity in a shop near the main square of Cres, where we'll have a tasting of a selection of typical products of the region. We'll be able to taste olive oil, honey, cold cuts, jams, pâté, lamb sausages and wild boar meat. All this will be accompanied by drinks, what more could you ask for?

After 2.5 hours in total, we'll finish this food tour in the main square of Cres.
