Water Trekking through Cuetzalan

At the time of your choice we'll pick you up from your hotel in Cuetzalán and drive by minibus to the outskirts of the city to start exploring its beautiful natural environment, which is sure to surprise you!

Have you ever been water trekking before? We'll first approach the underground river La Garganta, located inside a grotto. We'll have to get wet to walk along this river course admiring the incredible rocky walls that surround it.

During the Cuetzalán water trekking tour we'll also visit the stalactite and stalagmite-filled cavern of El Cántaro and cross the Sacred Canyon to the Encanto waterfall, which is 30 metres high (98 feet)!

The hike will then take us to some amazing pools known as Pata de Perro (Dog's Paw). These are five small natural pools of shallow water whose shape resembles the footprints of man's best friend!

After five or six hours of activity, depending on the pace of the group, we'll finish the activity leaving you back at your hotel.
