Inishmore & Doolin Ferry
Inishmore & Doolin Ferry
From the port of Doolin you can board a ferry that'll take you to Inishmore, the most important site on the Aran Islands. After an 35 minutes sailing across Galway Bay, you'll reach the coast of Inishmore to explore the island at your own leisure.
Inishmore, which means "big island", is the most visited isle of the Aran archipelago. Make sure to walk through its green fields with stone walls crisscrossing the landscape, one of the most iconic sights on this Irish island.
What's more, you'll be able to see how the locals move from one place to another with horse-drawn carriages, ruins of abandoned churches and, of course, admire Wormhole and its cliffs. They are quite an impressive sight to behold.
Departure times
You can board any ferry that departs daily at the following times:
- Outbound ferry from Doolin: at 10 am, 1 pm, and 2.30 pm.
