Kayaking in Southern Favignana
At 9:30 am, we'll meet at Punta Sottile, the westernmost end on the largest island of the Egadi archipelago. Are you ready to start the kayaking tour in the south of Favignana? Let's go!
First, we'll get into the kayaks and learn how to paddle properly with the help of our instructors. Then, we'll start paddling through the waters of the Tyrrhenian Sea while admiring the beautiful coastline of Favignana.
During the kayaking tour, we'll cover a total of 14 kilometers making several stops to enjoy the south of the island. You can take a dip in beautiful beaches such as Marasolo or Rotonda, we'll see small islets such as Preveto or Galeotta and we'll have a break halfway to refuel with a tasty snack. The picnic includes cunzato bread, fruit, and sweets.
Next, the kayaking tour will take us to the famous Cala Azzurra, located near the lighthouse of Punta Marsala. It's one of the most beautiful golden sandy beaches of Favignana and is named after the intense turquoise color of its clean waters.
Lastly, we'll wrap up the tour at 5:30 pm at Cala Azzurra.
