    In general it was very good. The gide was very She is knowledgeable and very passionate about what she talks about. She is very patient with us and answers questions promptly. The only thing missing was a discussion of the historical importance of migratory influences in that location. It was a topic that was rarely discussed.

Commissioned by the Medici family, the Florence Cathedral was intended to be a symbol of the power and wealth of Tuscany. 

Incredibly, the cathedral took over 140 years to fully complete. The result was the world's largest church, able to accommodate 30,000 worshippers as well as the world's largest dome (designed by Filippo Brunelleschi), which remains the largest brick dome ever constructed.
