Day Trip Details
We'll swing by and pick you up from your Florianópolis hotel at the scheduled time. From there, we'll head to Balneário Camboriú, a quick trip of just over an hour along the Brazilian coast.
Once we arrive, you're free to explore the Oceanic Aquarium on your own. It's home to 25 different freshwater and saltwater areas with more than 130 species from all over the world. That’s a massive 3,500 square meters and about a million liters of water!
You'll also be able to head to the famous Unipraias Park on Aguada Hill. You're going to love the incredible panoramic views of Balneário Camboriú, the beaches, and those huge skyscrapers. The theme park also has tons of fun activities like cable car rides, mountain sleds, and ziplines. Just a heads-up: park admission isn't included in the tour price.
If you'd rather do your own thing, you can take a boat ride to the gorgeous Laranjeiras Beach. You'll have free time there to go for a swim in the Atlantic and grab some lunch right by the water.
We'll wrap up the tour by dropping you back at your hotel in Florianópolis, about 10 hours after we first picked you up.
Tour Options
Please note that if you choose to do this tour on a Monday, Wednesday, or a Friday, towards the end of the trip, you'll also do a sightseeing tour of Balneario Camboriú, during which we'll showcase its highlights, such as Central Beach and Atlantic Avenue, accompanied by our knowledgeable guide. Before returning to Florianópolis, we'll make a stop at Café Tirolez, a colonial-style coffee shop offering delightful coffee and the opportunity to purchase some of their handcrafted items.
If you choose to do this tour on a Tuesday, Thursday, or Sunday, you'll have free time throughout the entire day to guide yourself through this beautiful area and choose the activities you like best.
Pickup Points
The tour includes pickup from hotels in the neighborhoods of Santinho, Ingleses, Ponta das Canas, Cachoeira, Canasvieiras, Jurerê, Shopping Villa Romana, and downtown Florianópolis.
If you're staying on the east side of the island (Barra da Lagoa, Joaquina, Praia Mole, Lagoa da Conceição, etc.), the south side (Campeche, Pântano do Sul, Rio Tavares, Ribeirão da Ilha, etc.), or the mainland (continental Florianópolis, Kobrasol, São José, Palhoça, Barreiros), we'll let you know an alternative meeting point.
