At the indicated time, we'll meet on Avenida Beira Mar Norte and, once everyone has arrived, we'll begin this free tour, which will take us on a fun running route through Florianopolis. Doesn't it sound like a fun plan?
After a brief introduction to the history of Santa Catarina Island and a warm-up, we'll start running along the coast, enjoying the sea breeze and the views of the North Bay.
The first stop will be in front of Forte Sant'Anna, one of the city's first defensive structures. Here, we'll tell you fascinating stories about the city's colonial roots.
Afterwards, we'll walk along the Pedro Ivo Pedestrian Bridge, a symbol of Florianópolis' modern development. The crown jewel is the Hercílio Luz Bridge, an engineering masterpiece. Did you know that it's the longest suspension bridge in Brazil? Impressive!
The activity is designed for runners of all levels, so you don't have to worry about a thing. Throughout the free tour, we'll run at a moderate pace, and there will be time to rest and take souvenir photos.
We'll conclude this 1.5-hour running route in the vicinity of the Hercílio Luz Bridge.
