Day Trip Details
At the scheduled time, we’ll meet at the Geneva bus station, from where we’ll head to the beautiful town of Yvoire, located on the shores of Lake Geneva.
Once there, you’ll be free to explore the picturesque streets of this medieval town, whose origins date back to the 12th century. You’ll feel as though you’ve traveled back in time as you stroll past its buildings, including the House of History and the 14th-century church. The fortified castle of Yvoire, built by Amadeus V of Savoy, also dates from this same historical period.
We also recommend visiting the Garden of the Five Senses, a delightful park that also features an intricate maze. In addition, you’ll have time to explore Yvoire’s charming restaurants and shops, and to grab a bite to eat on your own.
In the afternoon, you can board the boat at the Yvoire pier. On this boat, you’ll take a cruise across Lake Geneva, accompanied by the breathtaking scenery of the Swiss Alps.
The boat will continue sailing until it reaches Geneva, where the tour will conclude 5 hours after departure.
