Make the most of your trip with this activity that includes transport to Skyglass, the Jolimont winery, and Caracol Park, three must-see sites to visit in Canela.

Activity Details

Ready to enjoy the most stunning landscapes of Canela? Then, after picking you up from your hotel in Gramado, we'll set off northeast, into the heart of the Sierra Gaucha. Let's go!

After 30 minutes, we'll reach our first destination of the day, Skyglass, the first iron and glass platform in Latin America. Standing 1,181 feet (360 meters) tall over the Valley of Ferradura, you'll have 1 hour of free time to walk on the transparent floor while you admire the scenic views of the Caí River. Plus, if you're brave enough, you can enjoy the breathtaking views on the suspended chairs of the Vale do Abusado attraction. Pure adrenaline!

Then, we'll head to the base of the Caracol Park cable car, where you'll have 1.5 hours to visit this site. After riding the 2,755-foot-long (840-meter-long) cable car, you'll be able to hop off and take in the privileged views of the Caracol Falls, a symbol of the region.

We'll also take you to the Caracol Castle, a building made of araucaria wood that dates back to the beginning of the 20th century. Here, not only will you discover its fascinating history—you'll also have the chance to enjoy a tasting of an apfelstrudel on your own, a typical dessert linked to Canela's German heritage.

After 40 minutes of exploring the castle, we'll head to the Estação Campos de Canela, where you'll have a total of 1 to 1.5 hours of free time to grab a bite to eat in the city.

Next, we'll head to the Jolimont winery, a pioneer in artisanal wines in the region. For 2 hours, you can join a tour of its facilities, diving into the production process of its wines. The best part? You'll end the experience with a wine tasting.

Finally, we'll return to your hotel in Gramado, where we'll say our goodbyes after a total of 10.5 hours.
