Vale dos Vinhedos Wine Tour

  • 8 reviews | 102 travellers
The activity is very complete, I really liked that the order has been changed compared to what we were going to do at the beginning when we hired. We started with a winery, then we had lunch and then we went to the other two wineries as well as stopping by a chocolate shop. I would add that the service on the bus had coffee since it would be very welcome for such a long day and in general the tastings in wineries would have to be accompanied by some cheese, gallera, foccachia and not only wine.

Vale dos Vinhedos Wine Tour

We'll pick you up at the chosen meeting point and start a wine tour through the Vale dos Vinhedos region, a landscape full of vineyards.

The first stop of the day will be at the Miolo winery, a reference in the world of enology, producing more than 10 million liters (nearly 3 million gallons) of wine per year! We'll take a guided tour of their facilities to discover how they produce their exquisite wines and, at the same time, learn about the history of the Italian family behind this business.

In addition, we'll enjoy a wine tasting and learn how to identify the nuances of the wine made in Vale dos Vinhedos. In total, we'll taste five different varieties.

Afterwards, we'll continue the excursion by visiting the Lovara winery, which was founded in 1887 by two Italian immigrants. We'll learn about its origins and taste three wines here. Cheers!

Feeling hungry? Halfway through the day, we'll take a break at a local restaurant so you can grab some lunch on your own if you wish.

The last stop of the tour will be at the Garibaldi winery, where we'll continue to appreciate the wines made in Vale dos Vinhedos. Of course, we'll visit their vineyards and taste their excellent wines.

The excursion will come to an end after a total of 10-11 hours back at the starting point.
