Tour Details

We'll meet in front of the Museum of Arts (MUSA), the starting point for this walking food tour of Guadalajara. Are you ready to discover the flavours of the city? Let's get started!

The first stop will be at a restaurant specialising in barbecue tacos, where, in addition to a taco, you'll be served a cup of hot broth to whet your appetite. Then, we'll head to another establishment to try a local-style taco, either carnitas or asada.

We'll continue our tour at a restaurant specialising in torta ahogada, undoubtedly Guadalajara's star dish. This speciality consists of crispy bread filled with pork and bathed in a spicy chilli and tomato sauce. We'll try a traditional version, and you'll discover why it's eaten without a knife or fork. Just like the real tapatíos do!

After this feast, it will be time for traditional drinks. You can choose between a refreshing tejuino or a flavoured agua fresca. To put the sweet finishing touch on the experience, we'll enjoy a typical local dessert.

After a 3-hour tour, we'll say goodbye in the centre of Guadalajara, with full bellies and happy hearts.
