Fortuna Brewery & La Rojeña Distillery Tour
Activity Details
At the scheduled time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Guadalajara and set off for Tequila. Ready to uncover the best-kept secrets of beer and tequila? Let’s go!
Our first stop along the way will be the Fortuna Brewery, renowned for its dedication to crafting complex and authentic flavors. During a 1-hour guided tour, we’ll explore the brewery’s facilities, learn about the intricate production process, and enjoy a tasting of their finest craft beers.
Next, we’ll visit an agave field, where you’ll gain insight into the cultivation of this essential tequila ingredient. As we take in the breathtaking views of the Tequila Volcano, you’ll experience the beauty of this iconic landscape firsthand.
We’ll then continue to La Rojeña, the oldest distillery in Latin America and a proud symbol of Casa Cuervo. With over 200 years of history, this legendary distillery produces some of Mexico’s most celebrated tequilas. During a 1-hour guided tour, you’ll discover the time-honored craftsmanship behind each bottle, culminating in an exclusive tequila tasting. Salud!
After immersing ourselves in the art of tequila-making, we’ll head to the charming town of Tequila, where a 30-minute guided tour will take us through its picturesque streets and the vibrant Cleofas Mota Market. You’ll then have 1 to 1.5 hours of free time to explore at your leisure—wander through the town, soak in the local culture, or savor traditional cuisine at a local restaurant.
Finally, we’ll return to Guadalajara, where you’ll be dropped off at your hotel 9 to 10 hours after pickup, wrapping up an unforgettable journey through Mexico’s beer and tequila heritage.
