Medellín Private Day Trip
Day Trip Details
We'll pick you up from your hotel in Guatapé at the scheduled time and head toward Medellín, the capital of Colombia's Antioquia region.
Our first stop will be Nutibara Hill, where we’ll visit Pueblito Paisa. This charming replica offers a small-scale look at a traditional Antioquian village. Next, we’ll head to Comuna 13 for an urban art tour, where we’ll see a variety of impressive murals created by famous graffiti artists.
After taking in the street art, we’ll travel through the city center using Medellín's famous Metro or Metrocable (cable car), depending on your preference. From the cable car cabins, you’ll enjoy extraordinary panoramic views of the "City of Eternal Spring."
During the tour, we’ll provide a traditional Colombian snack, such as a pandebono (cheese bread), a buñuelo, or an empanada... the perfect treat to keep your energy up.
The private tour continues at Botero Plaza, dedicated to Fernando Botero, one of Colombia's most prestigious international artists. In this large square, we’ll see several of his iconic sculptures, including The Rape of Europa, Maternity, and The Sphinx.
At the end of the tour, you’ll have free time to enjoy Medellín's local cuisine before we head back to Guatapé. You can expect to arrive back 8 to 9 hours after the initial pickup.
