Helsinki Card
What Does the Helsinki Card Include?
All card options grant single-entry access to the following main attractions:
- Ateneum Art Museum
- Kiasma
- Temppeliaukio Church
- Design Museum
- Panoramic bus tour (October to April)
- A canal cruise (May to September)
Card Options
During the booking process, you can choose your pass for 24, 48, or 72 hours, selecting one of the following options:
- Helsinki Card: includes access to all museums and tourist attractions in the city, but does not include public transportation.
- Helsinki Card REGION: this card includes the same cultural benefits as the previous option, plus unlimited use of public transport in zones A, B, and C. This makes it easy to connect to and from Helsinki Airport by train.
How Does It Work?
The Helsinki Card is a completely online service. The process works as follows:
- After confirming your booking, you will receive a code on your confirmation document.
- You must redeem this code on the official website.
- Once redeemed, you can download your tourist card directly to your device.
- Activation: the card's validity period begins the first time you use it at an attraction or on public transport.
- Once you have downloaded the Helsinki Card from the website, the booking cannot be canceled free of charge.
Important Info
If you have booked the Helsinki Card REGION option and need to validate your public transport, you must carry a printed copy of the card. Readers on local transport do not accept digital passes.
Children Under 7
Children under 7 travel free on public transport and enter most museums free of charge.
