After meeting up in Independence Square, next to the Founders of Kiev Monument, we'll begin one of the most intriguing tours this city has to offer.
We'll start by unveiling the secrets of Independence Square itself, a plaza that has been a silent witness to some of the most important episodes in Ukrainian history.
Next, we'll stroll up to the peak of Saint Volodymyr Hill. As well as boasting the best panoramic views over Kiev, this lofty park is also home to several mysterious stories that your guide will reveal as you admire the city's skyline. Can you guess who is represented by the giant statue that stands here guarding the city?
Wandering downhill, we'll get to see the so-called Castle of Richard the Lionheart and hear about the legends that surround it, before visiting Kiev's historic cemetery, a place shrouded in dark stories. Will they be true?
Our free walking tour of Kiev's mysterious secrets and legendary history will come to an end at the Fountain of Samson in the Podil district at around 9 pm.
