Una ruta de senderismo absolutamente espectacular, de las mejores que hemos hecho. El guía, Arnold, muy amable y profesional. Lo explicó todo con mucho detalle, hizo el recorrido muy ameno, y estuvo muy pendiente de todo el grupo. La ruta es exigente, hay que estar en forma, sobre todo si se pasa de los 60 años, como nosotros. Las partes más complicadas suelen coincidir con las más espectaculares y el camino se disfruta. An absolutely spectacular hiking route, one of the best we've ever done. Our guide, Arnold, was very friendly and professional. Fue estupendo. El guia, Arnold (que me perdone si no se escribe así) una persona magnífica y muy atención con todos nosotros. He de decir que no sabíamos que era tan duro, subidas, bajadas, cruce de ríos, estrechamientos, muchos terrenos diferentes, pero eso hizo de la ruta una aventura inolvidable. También decir que la cascada de colores no la vimos porque no está ya como tal. Eran todos alemanes menos nosotros y encantadores. Acabamos con agujetas hasta en las pestañas. Muchas gracias a todos.

La ruta tiene 3 partes. La primera de unos 5 km fue asequible. La segunda de unos 3 km es de bajada con mucha pendiente con terreno con piedrecitas y arena que hay que ir con bastante precaución, el camino se estrecha y hay riesgo de resbalarse. La última es cruzando por el río que hay partes más fáciles y otras con muchas rocas (te mojas si hay bastante agua). Imprescindible calzado de montaña. Una ruta imprescindible en La Palma. El paisaje es impresionante, y tuvimos una guía inmejorable. Recomiendo un buen estado de forma y calzado con buena sueña para hacerla, ya que son 16 km y mucho desnivel negativo. Recomiendo el tour ya que la Rita es excepcional y con el tour puedes acceder al punto de partida que es de difícil acceso. Las guías y el conductor de diez! No obstante, considero que somos demasiadas personas para cada guía... el grupo se ralentiza teniendo que esperar a todos (algunos muy lentos por la complejidad de la ruta), las guías van con prisa para llegar a tiempo a la guagua y pierde encanto ir con prisas. Ruta de 16 km en descenso continuo, salvo en dos pequeños tramos. Bárbara dio las explicaciones necesarias para conocer el parque nacional. Buena visita al Parque Nacional de la Caldera de Taburiente. El recorrido, desde el mirador de los Brecitos muy bueno hasta la cascada de colores... el último tramo nos lo podíamos ahorrar... ya que no aporta a los paisajes nada y es matador andar por el antiguo cauce del río. Pero bueno, está así y no te pueden recoger antes. Deberían avisar del tramo que vas cruzando una y otra vez el río, por el tipo de calzado que lleves.
