La Plata Freemason Tour

We will begin the Masonic tour of La Plata on the steps of the cathedral, where we will meet at 10  am. Prepare to find out who the freemasons are and all their secrets! We will begin the tour with a brief introduction, trying to clear up some of the questions surrounding Freemasonry.

We will first stop before the foundation stone of La Plata. The rock is located in the middle of the Plaza Moreno, which coincides with the geographical center of the city. The esplanade is also flanked by two of the most symbolic monuments of the city: the cathedral and the Municipal Palace.

We will continue the tour on diagonal 74, a long elegant avenue that in the past housed the headquarters of various lodges. We will also walk through other central streets of the city in search of the iconic temples of the Freemasons of La Plata and their symbols, which we will try to decipher.

The route will continue in the picturesque park of Paseo del Bosque, where we will interpret the Masonic symbolism of the Monument to William Brown. Nearby, next to the Museum of Natural Sciences, is the Monument to the Five Wise Men of La Plata.

After passing through the charming Plaza Rocha square and looking at some details of it, we will go to the Temple of the Respectable Logia 80 of La Plata. There, we will see a brief projection and, after a talk about masonry with its leaders, our fantastic tour will conclude at 1pm.
