Flight Options

When booking, you can choose between the following options. Both start at the Aeroclub La Plata and include a safety chat before the flight, taking photos before and after the activity, and a 360-degree video of the experience. You can see the details of each route below.

15-Minute Helicopter Ride

After the initial briefing in the helicopter, we'll take off and head towards the majestic Río de La Plata. From the heights, we'll fly over emblematic places such as the Regatas Club, the Santiago River, the Paulino Island and the Shipyards.

We'll continue our flight over the La Plata Forest, the Astronomical Observatory and the Estudiantes and Gimnasia stadiums. Before returning to the Aeroclub, we'll also see the Hippodrome and the imposing Cathedral.

Please note that, including the initial talk, photos and the flight, the whole experience will last approximately 1 hour and 10 minutes.

20 to 24-Minute Helicopter Ride

In this option, you'll enjoy a more extensive route, in which we'll follow the itinerary described above until we reach the Cathedral. From there, we'll continue the flight to fly over the Plaza Moreno, the Teatro Argentino and the Estadio Único.

In total, this flight lasts approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes.

When booking, you'll have to indicate at which time you'd like to do the activity:

• From September 1 to April 30: between 10:30 am and 6 pm. Please keep in mind that the final two times you can start the activity at are 4:40 pm and 4:50 pm.
• From May 1 to August 31: between 10:30 am and 5:30 pm. Please keep in mind that the final two times you can start the activity at are 4:10 pm and 4:20 pm.

Requirements

For safety reasons, in order to take part in the activity, there is a maximum weight of 120 kg (264.5 lbs).
