Cabo San Lucas Free Tour
Tour Details
We'll start this free tour of Cabo San Lucas in the emblematic Plaza Amelia Wilkes. Once we're ready, we'll start sharing the story of this teacher and community leader who fostered local education. We'll also discover her efforts as the first woman with a role in the government of San Lucas.
Close by, we'll see the Parroquia de San Lucas Evangelista, a simple and charming church that has withstood several hurricanes. Its Colonial-style walls, built in 1730, will tell us about the faith and perseverance of the community. We'll continue toward the Museum of Natural History, where, from outside, we'll tell you about the pericúes, the former inhabitants of the region.
Then, we'll walk around The Place at Cabo, a hall filled with murals and interactive art. It'll be impossible not to take photos! Each artwork represents the city's creativity and modern atmosphere.
We'll then continue to the Marina of Cabo San Lucas. Today, it's the tourist epicenter, but in the past, it was a natural lagoon surrounded by mangroves and marine fauna. As we walk among its boats, you'll enjoy the views of the port and the yachts floating on the water.
Our next stop? The Galería Iris, a unique place where you can take pictures of your iris and turn it into art. How do they do it? You'll soon find out! To end this free tour on a high note, we'll stop at a stand to taste tequila and discover why it's the country's most beloved drink.
Finally, we'll reach the bar area of Cabo San Lucas, where music blasts all day with the energy of the Pacific. Here, we'll say our goodbyes after 1 hour and 20 minutes to 2 hours.
