At the designated time, we'll meet at the selected meeting point and leave Malabo behind to set off to San Pedro de Ureca, a small village located on the south of the island of Bioko, where you'll discover the beauty of its tropical jungle and its vast beaches with golden sand. Ready? Let's go!
Upon arrival, we'll begin a hiking route, seeing how the vegetation changes around us as we slowly advance. During the hike, we'll spot different animals like monkeys and a wide variety of birds. In this spectacular site, we'll enjoy a picnic-style lunch, perfect for connecting with nature.
The tropical jungle of Ureka is known for its waterfalls. You'll enjoy them with this activity! We'll admire these large waterfalls and, of course, you'll have free time to take a dip in its waters. Afterward, we'll reach the beach of Ureka to rest, have dinner, and prepare the camping tents. We'll spend the night here.
These beaches are popular for its many sea turtles. To see its famous hatching, we'll walk up in the middle of the night and approach them, from a safe distance, to observe the process. It'll be a unique experience! After this exciting moment, we'll return to the tents to rest for the next day.
In the morning, we'll wake up and slowly enjoy breakfast at the camping site. After breakfast, we'll start our journey back to Malabo.
We'll conclude our day trip at the starting point at approximately 10 am.
