Los Toneles Winery Visit
At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Mendoza and make our way to the Los Toneles Winery, located right by the city centre. Did you know that it has won several prizes? It has been declared a Cultural Heritage Site of Mendoza for good reason!
Upon arrival, we'll enjoy a unique experience discovering all the secrets of wine production in the Cuyo region. To do so, we'll explore the different rooms of this winery, founded in 1922.
Throughout the tour, we'll talk about vine care, grape cultivation, harvesting and, of course, we'll learn about the work that goes into each bottle of wine.
After the tour, we'll head to the tasting room for a tasting of three wines. With this pleasant taste in our mouths, we will go to the Abrasado restaurant, located in the winery itself, to enjoy a full 3-course dinner.
At the end of the dinner, we'll take you back to your hotel and conclude this 4.5-hour experience.
Dinner at the Abrasado Restaurant
The dinner menu will consist of:
- Starter: Mendoza-style beef eye empanada, paired with a Fuego Blanco Sauvignon Blanc wine
- Main course: Matured chorizo steak with roasted pepper emulsion, served with potatoes or salad. This dish will be paired with a Gran Tonel 137 Malbec wine
- Dessert: Honeycomb and olive ice cream, paired with Moscatino Rosé
It also includes tea or coffee.
