Bob Marley Tour
Tour Details
At the indicated time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Ocho Rios. From there, we'll head towards the center of the island and into the Jamaican hills to reach the town of Nine Mile.
What makes this small town so famous? It is the birthplace of the legendary Robert Nesta Marley, known worldwide as Bob Marley.
From the moment we arrive, you'll see how the spirit of the king of reggae is kept alive in Nine Mile, as the town is almost entirely dedicated to the famous artist. In fact, it is the Marley family itself that runs this Jamaican community.
To learn more about the life of Bob Marley, we'll take you to his birthplace, declared a National Monument. Inside his home, we'll find two rooms filled with memories of his childhood, which we'll get to explore accompanied by reggae music.
During the tour, we'll learn all about the Rastafari movement, of which the leader of The Wailers was an important member. We'll also enter Bob Marley's mausoleum where we'll visit his tomb, a place of worship for fans of the iconic composer, who even take off their shoes as a symbol of respect.
Finally, after learning about the life of the artist, we'll begin our return journey to the starting point, where we'll say our goodbyes after a total of 6 hours.
