At the designated time, we'll pick you up at your hotel and head to the pier of Parnaíba to start this special day trip. Are you ready to discover the Parnaíba Delta on a boat ride? Time to go!
Once we board the boat, we'll embark on a journey through a natural site filled with paradisiac beauty. During the boat ride, we'll pass by the most famous bays of the delta: the Bahía das Canárias and Bahía do Caju. If we're lucky, we'll even see the scarlet ibis bird take flight!
Throughout the ride, we'll sail along more than 62 mi (100 km). To begin, we'll see the Morro Branco, famous for its stunning dunes and river beach. Afterward, we'll discover the Ilha dos Poldros, perfect to witness where the Parnaíba River meets the Atlantic Ocean. After this spectacle of nature, we'll head to the Ilha das Canárias, where we'll disembark so you can enjoy lunch on your own at one of the restaurants.
After lunch, we'll return to the boat and continue navigating along the delta and learning about one of the area's most deep-rooted traditions, crab fishing. Plus, we'll observe the different species of animals and birds that hide among the mangroves. You'll have an unforgettable sight in front of your eyes!
In the final stretch of our boat ride, we'll stop at the Morro do Meio, where we'll enjoy a unique scenic view of the Bahía do Caju. Once we return to the boat, we'll enjoy the sunset and witness the Revoada dos Guarás, the moment of the day when hundreds of scarlet ibis birds land with a dance that will surely captivate you!
Finally, we'll return to the starting pier and conclude our tour by dropping you off at your hotel 8.5 hours later.
