Activity Options

During the booking process, you can choose the option you prefer, depending on the type of tuk-tuk tour you want to do. All of them start at the indicated time at Rua do Corpo da Guarda, 18.

Tuk-Tuk Tour (50 Minutes)

On this tuk tuk tour, we’ll ride through the streets of Porto’s historic center and along its old city walls, taking in São Bento Station before heading to Porto Cathedral. The cathedral is one of the most important examples of Portuguese Romanesque architecture, with its compact structure, thick walls, and fortress-like appearance.

We’ll continue along Avenida dos Aliados, a grand urban avenue lined with institutional buildings and eclectic architecture from the late 19th and early 20th centuries. In this area, we’ll see the Igreja do Carmo and Igreja dos Carmelitas, two adjoining churches linked to Rococo Baroque style, often noted for their large azulejo tile panels covering the side façades.

Next, we’ll make our way to the Clerigos Tower, one of Porto’s most iconic landmarks, and pass by Livraria Lello, widely regarded as one of the most beautiful bookstores in the world.

We’ll then ride along Rua das Taipas toward Miragaia and Ribeira, where you’ll enjoy magnificent views over the Douro River. Along this stretch, you’ll notice the medieval and later urban fabric, with narrow streets, slim buildings, wrought-iron balconies, and architecture shaped by the city’s steep topography.

After this panoramic experience, we’ll return to the meeting point.

Tuk-Tuk Tour + Six Bridges Cruise (1.5 Hours)

Want even more? You can choose this even more complete option, which, as well as the tuk-tuk route described above, includes a ticket for the Six Bridges cruise. If you wish, we can end the tour in Gaia, next to the pier, so you can explore Porto and Gaia in a different way.

Tuk-Tuk Tour + Cruise + Winery Visit (2 Hours)

If you want the ultimate experience, this is the option for you! In this case, as well as everything in the previous option, you'll get to visit a winery in Porto. The visit, which will last 30 minutes, includes a tasting of 2 glasses of wine and is carried out with an English-speaking guide in the Burmester or Fonseca winery.

Cruse & Winery Tour Schedule

The schedules for the Six Bridges Cruise and the guided tour of the Port Wine Cellar are as follows:

• Six Bridges Cruise: daily from 10:30 am to 6 pm (from April to September) and from 11 am to 4 pm (from October to March). The ticket is open to be used at any time.
• Guided tour of a wine cellar in Porto: daily from 11 am to 5 pm. After the tuk-tuk tour, we'll give you the ticket to visit a winery and explain how to make the reservation to guarantee availability.
• The visit to the winery can be done on the same day as the tuk-tuk tour or at any time during the following 30 days.
• If you book the tour at 6 pm, you won't be able to visit the wineries or do the cruise on the same day as the tuk-tuk tour. You can do it the next day or within the following 30 days.
