We'll pick you up at 8:30 am at your hotel in Praia Grande to take you to the path where we'll start the Rio do Boi hiking route.
Once at the start of the trail, we'll embark on a 13-kilometre (8 miles) walk through an area of high difficulty. However, we'll make several stops to make the itinerary more enjoyable. The first hour and a half of the route will take us through a wooded area where we'll learn to distinguish the different botanical species.
Then, we'll pass from this leafy forest area to a valley of crystalline waters next to the Boi riverbed. We'll cross this geographical feature at different points. Depending on the flow in its different sections, the water could reach our ankles or our knees. It'll be quite a challenge!
We'll continue our hiking route through Rio do Boi contemplating the breathtaking scenery of the Itaimbezinho canyon. We'll also take a break for a picnic lunch including a sandwich, a cereal bar, a piece of fruit and an energy drink.
After our refreshments, we'll walk back to the starting point of the hiking route and from there we'll finally return to your hotel in Praia Grande, where we'll arrive between 2:30 pm and 4:30 pm.
