Day Trip Details
At the scheduled time, we’ll pick you up from your hotel in Rio de Janeiro and begin a day trip to Serra dos Órgãos, one of the best areas to discover the natural beauty of the Atlantic Forest.
We’ll leave the city behind and travel for 50 minutes to the entrance of Serra dos Órgãos National Park, at the Sede Guapimirim area. Once there, we’ll start exploring this spot filled with natural pools, towering peaks, and lush forests.
Our first stop will be at Poço Verde, one of the park’s main attractions, known for its crystal-clear waters and intense emerald color. There, you’ll be able to enjoy a refreshing swim surrounded by nature.
We’ll continue walking along the trails until reaching several impressive waterfalls, such as Poço da Ponte Velha, Poço da Capela, and Poço da Preguiça. You won’t stop taking photos! Throughout the hike, you’ll also learn countless interesting facts about the flora and fauna that are so characteristic of Serra dos Órgãos.
After that, we’ll head to the Mirador do Soberbo, where we’ll enjoy unbeatable views of the park’s mountains and valleys. To help you recharge, we’ll make a stop for lunch on your own.
With renewed energy, we’ll continue walking along the Serra dos Órgãos trails back to the starting point. Finally, we’ll return to your hotel in Rio and bring the day trip to an end 7 hours later.
