Activity Details
After picking you up at your hotel in Rovaniemi, we'll set off on a journey of about 20 km (12.4 mi) to the northeast of the city. During the trip, we'll pass through a fairytale landscape, featuring tall pine trees and a blanket of ice and snow.
Once we arrive at our destination, we'll give you basic instructions on how to drive the snowmobiles and equip you with everything you need to start the vehicles. We'll choose the route based on the group's driving skills.
With everything ready, we'll begin this 1-hour and 20-minute snowmobile adventure, which will take us along white trails, among sparkling snowflakes and branches covered in ice. During the journey, we'll make scenic stops to take photos and admire the surroundings.
After the snowmobile route, we'll head to a strategic point in Vikaköngäs, where we'll put on our snowshoes. This unique footwear will allow us to walk easily on freshly fallen snow as we venture into the peaceful forest, along much narrower trails.
For an hour, we'll explore the beauty of Finnish Lapland and lose ourselves in the frozen natural sculptures of the forest. Will we find traces of reindeer or lynx? A true revelation of Arctic wildlife!
Finally, we'll return to Rovaniemi, where we'll say goodbye at your hotel after a total of 4.5 hours of adventure.
Hotel Pickup
This tour includes pickup from hotels located within a 10 km (6.2 mi) radius of the centre of Rovaniemi. If you're staying outside of this area, we'll get in touch with you after booking to arrange an alternative meeting point.
Snowmobile Requirements
To drive snowmobiles, you must be at least 18 years old and present a valid driving licence. When booking, you can choose between an individual snowmobile or a shared snowmobile, and both of you can take turns driving the vehicle if you meet the necessary requirements. Please note that the price indicated is per person.
Children under the age of 18 must book a shared snowmobile ticket and will travel as passengers with an adult.
