Bob Marley Tour + Dunn's River Falls
Activity Details
At the appointed time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Runaway Bay and from there we'll travel to the interior of Jamaica. Are you ready to discover the story of the king of reggae?
After a journey of approximately 1 hour, we'll arrive at the village of Nine Mile, the birthplace of Bob Marley. Once there, we'll discover the secrets of this humble house, which still preserves some objects and mementos from the singer's youth. We will also visit the Bob Marley Mausoleum, where his remains are laid to rest.
On our tour of Nine Mile, we'll also visit Mount Zion Rock, a pillow-shaped rock where Bob Marley used to meditate and compose. In fact, this place became famous in the celebrated song Talking Blues, one of the greatest hits by the king of reggae.
Next, we'll recharge our batteries at a restaurant near Nine Miles with a traditional Jamaican lunch that includes various local specialties. After lunch, we'll head to the north of the island, where the famous Dunn's River Falls await us. One of Jamaica's natural treasures!
Once there, surrounded by the region's wild nature, we'll climb the walls of the waterfalls while learning about the unique features of this region. After reaching the top of the waterfalls, you'll have half an hour of free time to take some spectacular photographs, relax, or take a dip in the crystal clear waters.
Finally, we'll make our way back to your hotel in Runaway Bay, where we will conclude this 12-hour excursion.
