Villa de Merlo Day Trip

At 7:30 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel in San Luis and set off for La Toma. In this charming Argentinian town, we'll visit the museum and workshop of onyx marble crafts, where we'll get to see how this mineral is sculpted into real works of art.

Our trip will continue across the Conlara Valley to one of the most beautiful villages in the region: Villa de Merlo. We'll go on a panoramic tour of this picturesque town and visit the neighbourhoods of Rincón and Rincón del Este, where we'll admire the landscapes of the Provincial Natural Reserve of Mogote Bayo.

Next, we'll head to the Dos Venados Casino to admire the fascinating sundial located in its entrance. Our tour will then continue in the Piedra Blanca area, the birthplace of the famous poet Antonio Esteban Agüero. Here, we'll also get to see the Algarrobo Abuelo", the region's famous tree. 

You'll have an hour of free time to have lunch in Villa de Merlo before we return to your hotel in San Luis, arriving by around 4:30 pm.
