Flores Island Lagoons & Lajes Tour
Flores Island Lagoons & Lajes Tour
At the selected time, we'll pick you up from your hotel to start our tour of the lagoons on Flores Island.
We'll head to the Reserva Natural do Morro Alto e Pico da Se, a unique natural setting with seven volcanic lagoons, including Negra, Branca, Comprida and Seca.
On the trails around these lakes, we'll find forests of laurels, cedars, hydrangeas and lilies. In addition, this idyllic setting offers several viewpoints from which to admire the landscape from above.
We'll continue the route, travelling to two viewpoints that will leave you completely fascinated: the Portal viewpoint and the Craveiro Lopes viewpoint. With our cameras full of photos, we'll head to the village of Lajes to visit, whenever possible, an old whaling factory, where we'll learn about the importance of hunting this mammal on the island of Flores.
The next stop on this trip will be Rocha dos Frades, a curious rock formation that many people identify as two friars conversing. Will you be able to identify them? Afterwards, we'll go to Rocha dos Bordões, a large basalt rock formation. Have your camera ready!
Finally, we'll go to Poço Redondo, where we'll rest and give you free time to take a dip in its crystal-clear waters.
After a 4-hour tour, we'll take you back to your hotel.
