Buritaca River Trip
Buritaca River Trip
At the appointed time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Santa Marta to begin this adventure through the best landscapes of the Sierra Nevada.
Our first stop will be the Quebrada Valencia. We will get out of our vehicle for a 30-minute walk and then you'll have two hours of free time to discover the beauty of this place, its waterfalls will amaze you!
We'll then head to the mouth of the Buritaca River, where you'll have 2 hours of free time. Fancy a bit of adrenaline? You'll have the opportunity to rent tubing equipment to ride the rapids of the river. If you prefer something quieter, you can swim in the river and observe the fauna and flora that abound in this magical place.
When you need to recharge your batteries, there are several restaurants in the area where you can enjoy a delicious meal.
Finally, we'll return to Santa Marta and say goodbye at your hotel after 8 hours of hiking.
Changes to the itinerary
Please note that if it's raining or if the river has no tributary, we'll change the Quebrada Valencia for another place or give you more free time at the mouth of Buritaca.
