Our Private Tours

If you have several days in Santa Marta and want to explore the beauty of its natural landscapes, we recommend booking one of our private tours. Each tour lasts between 4 and 8 hours and includes transportation in a private vehicle and an English-speaking guide. Below, you can see the available options:

San Rafael Farm Tour (4 Hours)

On this tour, after picking you up at your hotel, we'll travel to the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta. After about a 45-minute drive, we'll arrive at Minca, a charming village nestled between mountains, rainforest, and low clouds. Upon arrival, you'll change transportation and hop on motorcycles driven by local guides who will take you to Finca San Rafael.

At this hacienda, we'll stroll among coffee and cacao plantations while learning about the process of growing, harvesting, drying, fermenting, and processing both products. We'll also taste freshly brewed coffee and handmade chocolate, made right there, with views of the forest, the Caribbean Sea, and, on clear days, the snow-capped peaks.

After this visit, you'll return by motorcycle to Minca and, from there, board the private transport again to return to your hotel in Santa Marta.

  • Schedule: Monday through Sunday at 8 am

Marinka Waterfall + La Victoria Farm Tour (4 Hours)

After picking you up at your hotel, we'll travel to Minca. Once there, you'll hop on motorcycles driven by local guides to explore the region's rural roads.

The first stop will be at Finca La Victoria, one of the oldest coffee plantations in Colombia, founded in 1892 and still in operation. We'll tour its historic facilities, see the original hydroelectric-powered machinery, and, step by step, discover the coffee production process, from harvesting to roasting.

Afterward, we'll continue our journey to the Marinka waterfall, famous for its crystal-clear pools and its natural jungle and mountain surroundings. There, you can take a refreshing dip, relax in giant hammocks, and enjoy the sound of the water falling.

At the end of the tour, you'll return by motorcycle to Minca and then by private transportation to your hotel.

  • Schedule: Monday through Sunday at 8 am

Minca Four Waterfalls Tour (5 Hours)

After picking you up at your hotel, we'll head to Minca. As in the previous itinerary, upon arrival you'll hop on motorcycles driven by local guides who will take you to explore jungle trails, dirt roads, and natural viewpoints.

During the tour, you'll visit the Marinka waterfall, ideal for swimming in crystal clear pools and relaxing in hammocks with views; the mysterious Oído del Mundo (Ear of the World), perfect for unwinding; the Perdida waterfall, a wild and peaceful spot; and the Pozo Azul, with its turquoise and icy waters that revitalize body and mind.

Finally, we'll return by motorcycle to Minca and then by private transport to your hotel.

  • Schedule: Monday through Sunday at 8 am

Minca Five Waterfalls Tour (6 Hours)

With this option, we'll follow the itinerary described above, but we'll visit one more waterfall: the Jaguar waterfall, a hidden spot in the heart of the Sierra Nevada jungle. According to legend, a jaguar used to drink here, and it still retains that wild and mysterious air. Its crystal-clear pool is perfect for taking a refreshing dip surrounded by nature.

Finally, we'll return by motorcycle to Minca and then by private transport to your hotel.

  • Schedule: Monday through Sunday at 8 am

Taganga and Playa Grande Tour (6 Hours)

On this day trip, after picking you up at your hotel, we'll head to Taganga, about 20 minutes from Santa Marta. This charming fishing village, notable for its mountains and the intense blue of the Caribbean Sea, will captivate you with its relaxed atmosphere, colorful boats, and views of the bay.

Upon arrival, we'll take a short walk through its streets to discover its seafaring traditions and history. Then, we'll board a shared boat that will take us to Playa Grande, a crescent-shaped bay surrounded by green hills, calm waters, and golden sand.

Here, you can enjoy a typical lunch of fried fish, meat, chicken, or a vegetarian option, accompanied by coconut rice, fried plantains, and salad. Afterward, you'll have free time to relax, swim, and explore the beach before returning by boat to Taganga and, from there, by private transport to your hotel in Santa Marta.

  • Schedule: Monday through Sunday at 8 am

Tayrona Tour by Car (8 Hours)

After picking you up at your hotel in Santa Marta, we'll set off by road to Tayrona Park. After approximately 1.5 hours driving along the Caribbean coast, we'll arrive at our destination.

From the park entrance, we'll take an easy 2-hour walk along trails surrounded by tropical rainforest, centuries-old trees, and the songs of exotic birds. We'll pass by beaches like Arrecifes, Arenilla, and La Piscina, until we reach Cabo San Juan del Guía beach. Here, you'll have 2 hours of free time to swim in its turquoise waters, relax in front of the majestic landscape, and have lunch at the restaurant.

Finally, we'll begin the return journey on foot and then by vehicle to your hotel.

  • Schedule: Monday through Sunday at 7 am

Tayrona Tour by Boat (8 Hours)

With this option, we'll meet at Santa Marta Bay to board a shared speedboat and sail across the Caribbean Sea to Cabo San Juan. During the 1-hour crossing, you can admire the coastline and enjoy the sea breeze.

Upon arrival at the beach, you'll have 4 hours of free time to swim in the calm waters, explore the nature trails, relax in a hammock under the palm trees, and have lunch at your own pace, at a local restaurant nearby.
