Tour Itinerary: Explore the South of São Tomé Island

At the designated time, we'll collect you from your hotel in São Tomé, setting out on the Estrada Nacional 2 aboard a 4x4 vehicle to explore the southern part of the island.

Our first pause takes us to the quaint village of Santana, where we'll visit its church and the renowned surfers' beach. Crossing the Abade River, our route unfolds towards Agua Izé, where the captivating sea grotto of Boca do Inferno beckons exploration.

Continuing our venture through southern São Tomé, we'll visit the inviting shores of Sete Ondas and Micondo. Enjoy a brief pause for a refreshing swim in the Atlantic Ocean. Following this break, our journey advances to the southernmost reaches of the island, pausing in the vicinity of the iconic Pico Cão Grande—a needle-shaped volcanic neck which stands at an altitude of 663 meters (2,175 feet).

Our exploration continues through São Tomé, encompassing the village of Ribeira Peixe and the cascading beauty of Praia Pesqueira waterfall. After lunch, we'll return to the island's capital, with an estimated arrival at your hotel 8 hours after the initial pickup.
