Tour Details

At the designated time, we'll meet at Paulista Avenuenumber 2153, in front of the Banco do Brasil. Once we're all gathered, we'll begin this free tour in the cultural heart of the city.

First, we'll pass by the Conjunto Nacional, an architectural icon that combines residences, offices, and a shopping mall, a symbol of Brazilian modernity. Close by, we'll admire the mural of Oscar Niemeyer, an artwork that pays tribute to one of Brazil's most influential architects.

Afterward, we'll explore Rua Augusta, one of the most vibrant streets in São Paulo, known for its fashion stores and nightlife, and we'll pass by the Casa das Rosas. The beautiful mansion, dating back to the beginning of the 20th century, is currently a cultural space dedicated to poetry and literature.

We'll continue our free walking tour by admiring the building of the Gazeta Theatre and enjoying the serenity of the parks of Trianon and Mário Covas, two green lungs in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the city. You'll also see Shopping Cidade São Paulo and Shopping Center 3, two examples of shopping malls that coexist with the city's historic heritage.

Then, we'll take in the Brutalist architecture by marveling at the São Paulo Museum of Art, one of the most important museums in Latin America. We'll also admire the facade of the Hospital Matarazzo and the old mansions of Paulista, majestic residences that were on the avenue in the past.

Finally, we'll reach the Japan House, where we'll conclude this 2-hour and 15-minute free walking tour.
