Quinta Sardonia Winery Visit

Winery Visit Details

Having met up at the indicated time at the entrance of Quinta Sardonia, one of Castilla y León's most important wineries, we'll start our guided visit. This fascinating place is just a short walk from the Duero River and boasts some of the most famous wines in Spain.

We'll go on a walking tour around the vineyards, as well as see the surrounding pine forests. The soil here is incredibly rich due to its calcareous origin with gypsum and marl.

After learning about the vines here and different types of grapes, we'll head into the winery. It has two large concrete rooms in which the laboratory, the vinification room, two aging rooms and a bottle cellar are located. We'll also see the French oak barrels in one of the rooms.

The cherry on top of this unforgettable visit will be a wine-tasting session. You'll try a Sardón and a QS2 accompanied by a cheese made localy. Delicious!

Finally, after 1.5 hours of touring, our guided visit will finish outside the Quinta Sardonia Winery.

Children Under 18

Children under the age of 18 can join this activity and visit the vineyards and the winery. However, the wine-tasting part of the experience with the food and wine pairing is only available for adults.
